» CD-Text Information in Audio CDs
|
CD-Text is part of the format of Audio CDs that stores text information about the disc, including the name of the artist, the name of the album, and the names of the individual tracks. This information can then be viewed by the listener in CD players that show CD-Text on a screen.
CD-Text information is not always stored in the same place on a CD. In some cases, the information is stored in the lead-in of the CD. In others, the data is kept with the rest of the data.
We provide CD duplicators that copy CD-Text information so you can be sure when you’re copying an audio CD that you’re copying all of the content. Not all CD duplicators will copy CD-Text information. It’s important to know that just because a duplicator has an audio mode doesn’t mean that it’s able to copy CD-Text data. If you need to be sure you're properly copying your Audio CD data, please contact us.
