The Rimage Everest thermal printer is a CD/DVD printer that uses thermal transfer ribbons to create photorealistic images using Microdry Transfer technology. It uses CMY color combinations at 4800dpi so you get the best images available. The Rimage Everest avoids the messiness associated with smudging ink or sticker labels. The image comes out instantly dry and high quality.
There are 4 different Rimage Everest Ribbons that can be used to create images with the Rimage Everest as well as the required transfer ribbons:
CMY Ribbons – for white top discs. CMYK Ribbons – for other color discs (such as silver). It creates a white undercoat on the surface first so the colors come out properly. Black Ribbons – for monochrome images. Transfer Ribbons – required in order to transfer the print to the surface. We provide the Rimage Everest printer as well as extended warranties and other premium maintenance options, ribbons, cleaning kits, and other supplies.
The Rimage Everest gives your CDs and DVDs full color and coverage in less than 60 seconds. It comes with a standard 1 year warranty; but optional Rapid Exchange as well as 5-day Depot Exchange warranties are also available. You need to have an IBM PC host computer available. This printer is available either as a standalone or with an autoloader for unattended runs.
